Joe and Tara Beaulieu founded Joseph’s Team to help their autistic son, Joseph, and all other autistic children fight autism.
“Joseph’s Team’s” first event was held at The Claddagh Pub in 2009 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The Comedy Event was created to benefit Melmark New England, a school that teaches and guides autistic children.
The first show was such a success that the event has become a once a year tradition that has raised more than fifty thousand dollars for Melmark New England and the region’s autistic children.
Through fundraising events, volunteer help, and donations, Joseph’s Team has been able to help more than one hundred and twenty autistic children.
